On Wednesday night we continued working on 2 Corinthians.  We read and discussed 2 Cor. chapter 6, then answered questions 10 & 11 on page 146 of our workbook.  Next week we will move on to 2 Corinthians chapter 7.

Last time we met we returned to our discussion of 2 Corinthians.  We read chapter 4 and answered questions 6 & 7 on page 145 of our workbook.  Then we read and discussed chapter 5 and answered question 8 on page 146.

On Wednesday night we watched Scott Hahn's video presentation, "The Fourth Cup," which discussed the connections between the Passover, Passion, and Eucharist. 

Next time we will pick back up with 2 Corinthians chapter 4.

On Wednesday night we began with a prayer for our new Holy Father, Francis. 

Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give to your shepherd Francis, a spirit of courage and right judgement, a spirit of knowledge and love.  By governing with fidelity those entrusted to his care may he, as a successor to the apostle Peter, and Vicar of Christ, build your church into a sacrament of unity, love, and peace for all the world.  We ask this though our Lord Jesus Christ, your son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

We then continued working on 2 Corinthians.  We finished reading and discussing chapter 2 and moved on to chapter 3.  We answered questions in our workbook through the first section of question 5 on page 145.

Last night we began reading and discussing Paul's 2nd Letter to the Corinthians.  We read 2 Corinthians chapters 1 & 2, as well as the commentary pages 139 & 140.  We answered questions 1 & 2 on page 144 of our workbooks.

On Wednesday night we continued our slow walk through Paul's letter to the Ephesians.  We read and discussed chapter 5, then answered the rest of question 15 on page 137 of our workbook.  Next time we will turn the page and start on question 16 on page 138.
